Garbeta
Garhbeta (Bengali: গড়বেতা) is a town in Medinipur Sadar subdivision of Paschim Medinipur district in West Bengal, India. It is on the bank of the Shilabati. Gar in Bengali means a nullah since the boundary of the earlier town was surrounded by a small nullah so the place was named Garhbeta. Garhbeta can also be spelled as Garbeta.
