Ganapavaram

Ganapavaram is a town & Mazor Panchayat and a mandal in West Godavari district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. Aqua culture is a major source of income. Mainly cultured by the Kshatriya community people. People are known for their riches from ages. Most people migrated to town Bhimavaram and cities like Hyderabad and the countries like the United States in the past decade. Philanthropist and business honcho Raju Vegesna is born here, and his contribution to the village is major with mineral water plants to houses for the poor and also temples of worship. It has an historic remembrance with Mahatma Gandhi coming to the place and thus named Gandhi Cheruvu (fresh water tank) is a place of visit. Very close from the bus station.
