F-Prot Antivirus, the Antivirus product by FRISK Software International, is available in related versions for several platforms. Currently supports the following Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Exchange, Linux, BSD, Solaris, AIX, IBM eServers, DOS and *nix.
The scanning engine used provides excellent detection capability, using neural network and heuristic, and low use of the computer resources. F-PROT Antivirus (for DOS) has the world's first heuristic behavior scanner in 1991.
FRISK Software International allows to develop applications based on their scanning engine, through the use of a SDK specifically released. Many software vendors use the F-Prot Antivirus engine, including: SUSE and F-Secure.
