Freienfeld

Freienfeld (Italian: Campo di Trens) is a comune (municipality) in the province of South Tyrol in northern Italy, located about 45 km north of the city of Bolzano.

As of 30 November 2010, it had a population of 2,668 and an area of 95.3 km². According to the 2011 census, 95.85% of the population speak German, 3.79% Italian and 0.36% Ladin as first language.
