Frederick ("Freddie") Richard Brown MBE (16 December 1910, Lima, Peru – 24 July 1991, Ramsbury, Wiltshire, England) was an English cricketer who played for Cambridge University and Surrey, captained Northamptonshire and England and was president of the Marylebone Cricket Club in 1971-72. Brown was educated at the Saint Peter's School in Chile, St Piran's school in Maidenhead, The Leys School Cambridge and St John's College, Cambridge, was commissioned into the Royal Army Service Corps in 1939 and was also a BBC radio cricket commentator and summariser.
