Located on Young Street, which also provides station access, the station has a large brick building which sits at the Stony Point end of the station, with an enclosed waiting area, ticket facilities, toilets and a cafe. An underpass is situated at the Stony Point end of the station, which connects Young Street and the station to its car park, Fletcher Road and Chisholm Institute TAFE. It is one of 13 metropolitan stations to have Metcard/myki barrier gates installed. It contains Myki smartcard machine, which replaced the former Metcard machines, as well as a booking office.
