Battistelli married percussionist Matthew Goodwin on August 27, 2009, in Nashville. The couple's son, Matthew Elijah, was born on September 22, 2010, and daughter, Audrey Jane, on July 3, 2012. The children accompany Battistelli and Goodwin on tour.
