Fantasy Author

The definition of a fantasy author is somewhat diffuse, and a matter of opinion – Jules Verne considered H. G. Wells to be a fantasy author – and there is considerable overlap with science fiction authors and horror fiction authors. However some notable part of the output of the fantasy writers leans more to the fantasy end of the spectrum.

Famous quotes containing the words fantasy and/or author:

It’s the movies that have really been running things in America ever since they were invented. They show you what to do, how to do it, when to do it, how to feel about it, and how to look how you feel about it. Everybody has their own America, and then they have the pieces of a fantasy America that they think is out there but they can’t see.
    Andy Warhol (1928–1987)

Whoever commits to paper what he suffers becomes a melancholy author: but he becomes a serious author when he tells us what he suffered and why he now reposes in joy.
    Friedrich Nietzsche (1844–1900)
