American Declaration of The Rights and Duties of Man

Article 25 of the American Declaration of the Rights and Duties of Man provides in part that "o person may be deprived of his liberty except in the cases and according to the procedures established by pre-existing law." The right to be tried in accordance to "pre-existing law" is reiterated in article 26.
