Senior high school is more complex. Not long ago a more commonly accepted way of grading was used, but it was changed, making it sometimes confusing to understand. For example, if a student writes a test and gets a B2, this probably means that she/he had a regular performance on the test, but if the student gets a C4, it means that he/she had credit marks on the test. The new system has tightened the admission grade for universities.

Famous quotes containing the words senior, secondary and/or school:
“Adolescents have the right to be themselves. The fact that you were the belle of the ball, the captain of the lacrosse team, the president of your senior class, Phi Beta Kappa, or a political activist doesnt mean that your teenager will be or should be the same....Likewise, the fact that you were a wallflower, uncoordinated, and a C student shouldnt mean that you push your child to be everything you were not.”
—Laurence Steinberg (20th century)
“Words are always getting conventionalized to some secondary meaning. It is one of the works of poetry to take the truants in custody and bring them back to their right senses.”
—William Butler Yeats (18651939)
“A sure proportion of rogue and dunce finds its way into every school and requires a cruel share of time, and the gentle teacher, who wished to be a Providence to youth, is grown a martinet, sore with suspicions; knows as much vice as the judge of a police court, and his love of learning is lost in the routine of grammars and books of elements.”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson (18031882)
