Phantom Trojan Marching Band

Since its reemergence in 1998 under the leadership of Darren Johnson, Sr., the band had participated in and won many prestigious marching band festivals and competitions in the state of Georgia, Florida and Alabama. Known as one of the most diverse and entertaining band, the PTMB has won in on both the traditional and corps styles competitions. Under Johnson, students in this band received over 1 Million dollars in scholarships to colleges and universities which includes: Tennessee State University, Bethune Cookman University, Florida A&M University, Albany State University, Morris Brown College, and many more.

In 2007, they leadership changed, and once student teacher, Joseph Martin took over the reigns as band director. He has had a hand in producing All-State players, and maintain an over 97% graduation rate.

Members in this band appeared in the national acclaimed movie Drumline.

During the offseason of marching band, students participate in symphonic band, concert band, jazz band, percussion ensemble, and other musical activities.

The PTMB performs to crowd with style and flash, using technique and showmanship.
