National Cadet Corps
The college is very famous for National Cadet Corps (NCC). The NCC has two wings Infantry (1 Tamil Nadu Battalion) and Armoured (1 Tamil Nadu Armoured Squadron). The college has represented Tamil Nadu contingent for Republic Day at New Delhi.The cadets of the college have won the award "All India Best Cadet" .The cadets of the college have also represented the nation as youth Ambassadors. The CADOFEST conducted by Infantry is an inter-collegiate competition for NCC cadets. Cadets from different colleges from city will participate in the Fest. The Cadofest kept its 25th year feet on 2007. The Armoured Squadron also conducts Bike Expedition on creating awareness on social issues.
