Deli Choices - Product Description

Product Description

Each sandwich is prepared to order. The bread is toasted (toaster conveyor belt, similar to a pizza oven) prior to being prepared. Meat and cheese fillings are heated in several seconds using a quick-steamer (similar to the device used to steam buns for the Southern Style Chicken Sandwich and Filet-O-Fish). The Bacon & Egg roll and the Deluxe rolls are part of the breakfast menu.

Some stores in Australia are now baking their own rolls in their stores daily, as part of a new McCafe menu that involves baked biscuits. These baked rolls aren't toasted on a conveyor belt, but are kept in a warmer. Stores in Newcastle, NSW are currently trialling deli choices made on wraps, rolls are only available during breakfast; as of the 18th of February 2009, QLD has also changed over.

Famous quotes containing the words product and/or description:

Culture is a sham if it is only a sort of Gothic front put on an iron building—like Tower Bridge—or a classical front put on a steel frame—like the Daily Telegraph building in Fleet Street. Culture, if it is to be a real thing and a holy thing, must be the product of what we actually do for a living—not something added, like sugar on a pill.
    Eric Gill (1882–1940)

I was here first introduced to Joe.... He was a good-looking Indian, twenty-four years old, apparently of unmixed blood, short and stout, with a broad face and reddish complexion, and eyes, methinks, narrower and more turned up at the outer corners than ours, answering to the description of his race. Besides his underclothing, he wore a red flannel shirt, woolen pants, and a black Kossuth hat, the ordinary dress of the lumberman, and, to a considerable extent, of the Penobscot Indian.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)
