Current Activities
Cobb current activities include continuing to serve as a member of the Board of Directors for the Green Institute, he serves on the Sierra Club's national Corporate Accountability Committee . Other positions he holds include serving as a Fellow with the Liberty Tree Foundation for the Democratic Revolution, and being on the Steering Committee, of Democracy Unlimited of Humboldt County, along with being the groups campaigns director, and is a Principal with Program on Corporations Law and Democracy .
After moving to Eureka, CA in 2003, David Cobb also won a seat on the County Council of the Green Party of Humboldt County in a hotly contested election on June 6, 2006, a position he has maintained to the present day. The membership of the Humboldt County Greens has declined by over 25% during his time in office, and they currently hold no seats on any local City Council (which they had continuously from 1990 to 2008).
