The Dallas-Fort Worth area is divided between Democrats in the urban areas and Republicans in the suburban and rural areas. Democratic voters dominate a majority of areas in the city of Dallas, including some inner suburbs in Dallas County. Republicans dominate most suburbs and the rural areas of the Metroplex.
