Cyprus Airways Public Limited (Greek: Κυπριακές Αερογραμμές, Kypriakés Aerogrammés, is the national airline of Cyprus, a public limited company with its head offices located in the capital of the island, Nicosia. It operates scheduled services to 24 destinations in Europe and the Middle East, which does not include the airlines codeshare destinations. It flies from its hub Larnaca. The airline has just celebrated its 65th anniversary in 2012. As of 28 October 2012 Cyprus Airways will be vastly expanding it's internal network within Greece adding to its current Athens-Thessaloniki-Athens and Herakleion-Rhodes-Herakleion routes the following routes: Athens-Herakleion-Athens, Athens-Rhodes-Athens, Thessalonki-Herakleion-Thessaloniki and Thessaloniki-Rhodes-Thessaloniki. The major routes will be served 2-3 times on a daily basis.
