Crux Immissa

Crux immissa or Latin cross is a type of the cross in which the vertical beam sticks above the crossbeam, as the main representation of the cross by which Jesus Christ was crucified.

Other types of crosses:

  • crux commissa (Cross of Tau) = like letter T
