Crush's Coaster - History

History

The Toon Studio project itself was officially announced on 11 January 2005. The expansion of Animation Courtyard was envisioned, without any confirmation of the new attractions to be included. No true official press announcement was given until the launch of the resort's 15th Anniversary Celebration on 1 April 2007. The ride Crush's Coaster is the first Finding Nemo-based ride in Disneyland Paris, while other Disney Resorts already featured some.

Famous quotes containing the word history:

“The thing that struck me forcefully was the feeling of great age about the place. Standing on that old parade ground, which is now a cricket field, I could feel the dead generations crowding me. Here was the oldest settlement of freedmen in the Western world, no doubt. Men who had thrown off the bands of slavery by their own courage and ingenuity. The courage and daring of the Maroons strike like a purple beam across the history of Jamaica.”
    —Zora Neale Hurston (1891–1960)

“Boys forget what their country means by just reading “the land of the free” in history books. Then they get to be men, they forget even more. Liberty’s too precious a thing to be buried in books.”
    —Sidney Buchman (1902–1975)

“My good friends, this is the second time in our history that there has come back from Germany to Downing Street peace with honour. I believe it is peace for our time. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. And now I recommend you to go home and sleep quietly in your beds.”
    —Neville Chamberlain (1869–1940)
