Colin Lloyd - Premier League Performances

Premier League Performances

Lloyd qualified for the first three Premier League tournaments between 2005 and 2007 – the tournament is restricted to the top ranked players in the PDC. In 2005, he finished second after the league stage but lost to Taylor in the final. In 2006 he went out to eventual winner Taylor in the semi finals, then finished 5th in the league stage in 2007. Due to his slip in rankings, he failed to qualify for either the 2008 Premier League or the 2009 Premier League.

Famous quotes containing the words league and/or performances:

I am not impressed by the Ivy League establishments. Of course they graduate the best—it’s all they’ll take, leaving to others the problem of educating the country. They will give you an education the way the banks will give you money—provided you can prove to their satisfaction that you don’t need it.
    Peter De Vries (b. 1910)

At one of the later performances you asked why they called it a “miracle,”
Since nothing ever happened. That, of course, was the miracle
But you wanted to know why so much action took on so much life
And still managed to remain itself, aloof, smiling and courteous.
    John Ashbery (b. 1927)
