City of Cambridge Rowing Club - Facilities

Facilities

The club was the first Cambridge town rowing club to build its own boathouse on the banks of the river Cam, and it is still based at the same site, in the main row of boathouses opposite Midsummer Common. Many local CRA races are run from this clubhouse.

The club has a fleet of racing shells and training boats, consisting of seven VIIIs, nine IVs/4xs, and over a dozen smaller boats including double sculls, pairs and single scull). The club's boats have ARA alphanumeric registration codes starting with the letters "CAM" followed by three digits.

Famous quotes containing the word facilities:

Marriage is good enough for the lower classes: they have facilities for desertion that are denied to us.
    George Bernard Shaw (1856–1950)

I have always found that when men have exhausted their own resources, they fall back on “the intentions of the Creator.” But their platitudes have ceased to have any influence with those women who believe they have the same facilities for communication with the Divine mind as men have.
    Elizabeth Cady Stanton (1815–1902)
