Children's Palace Station (Chinese: 少年宫站; pinyin: Shàonián Gōng Zhàn) was a terminus of the MTR Shenzhen Longhua Line. It started operations on 28 December 2004. It is located at the underground of the south of Lotus Hill (Chinese: 莲花山) in Futian District, Shenzhen, China. It is adjacent to Shenzhen Children's Palace (Chinese: 深圳少年宫).
Formerly known in English by its pinyin transliteration Shaoniangong, Children's Palace was the northern terminus of the Longhua Line, before its extension to Qinghu (Chinese: 清湖站) in North Shenzhen was completed in 2010.

Famous quotes containing the words children, palace and/or station:
“Could it be that those who were reared in the postwar years really were spoiled, as we used to hear? Did a child-centered generation, raised in depression and war, produce a self-centered generation that resents children and parenthood?”
—C. John Sommerville (20th century)
“You weep, you weep for the sun an Image.
...
the wind calls hideously,
woe for the childrens fate,
woe for a palace rent,
woe, woe for these who spent
life-blood
in hate.”
—Hilda Doolittle (18861961)
“How soon country people forget. When they fall in love with a city it is forever, and it is like forever. As though there never was a time when they didnt love it. The minute they arrive at the train station or get off the ferry and glimpse the wide streets and the wasteful lamps lighting them, they know they are born for it. There, in a city, they are not so much new as themselves: their stronger, riskier selves.”
—Toni Morrison (b. 1931)
