The original Chicken Shoot released in 2003 was a Flash game that reached moderate success on the internet, and was generally well received by players on various Flash game websites. It was one of the first flash games to be playable on the Internet Channel browser for the Wii, as it utilized the Wii Remote to aim and shoot chickens which flew across the screen. It is believed by many that the original Chicken Shoot helped popularize internet games playable on the Wii.
It is almost identical to Country Varmint Hunter.
