Chichakli

Chichakli (also, Kizilvank) is a town in the Gegharkunik Province of Armenia.

Chichakli is a small mountainous town in Armenia, et high on Aragats Lerr mountain (4095 m) and dates back to the 14th Century. Chichakli is also known by the name "Kizilvank".

The town was named after the famous Armenian family "Chichakli" which means "High Place". The name "chichakli" is also used in Azarbayjan to describe high country, while "Chichak" mean "Rose" in Turkish where a substantial number of Chichakli's people live.
