Charles De Freycinet

Charles Louis de Saulces de Freycinet (14 November 1828 – 14 May 1923) was a French statesman and Prime Minister during the Third Republic; he belonged to the Opportunist Republicans faction. He was elected a member of the Academy of Sciences, and in 1890, the fourteenth member to occupy a seat in the Académie française.
