- Kitty Galore is a parody of the Bond girl Pussy Galore.
- Paws is a parody of Jaws, complete with metal teeth.
- The opening sequence is a parody of the James Bond title sequence, which has become a series staple. The theme song is longtime Bond dame Shirley Bassey's cover of "Get the Party Started". The sequence includes references to the sequences for GoldenEye and Tomorrow Never Dies, as well as the earlier Bond films.
