- Kitty Galore is a parody of the Bond girl Pussy Galore.
- Paws is a parody of Jaws, complete with metal teeth.
- The opening sequence is a parody of the James Bond title sequence, which has become a series staple. The theme song is longtime Bond dame Shirley Bassey's cover of "Get the Party Started".
