Time Abroad

As an envoy of det dansk-asiatiske Kompagni, he stayed in London from January 1805 to take care of the company's business affairs vis-à-vis the English East India Company. In 1811 he took up permanent residence at Eidsvoll Ironworks.

Famous quotes containing the word time:

The last time I saw Paris
Her heart was warm and gay,
I heard the laughter of her heart in every street café.
    Oscar Hammerstein II (1895–1960)

Every time a woman makes herself laugh at her husband’s often-told jokes she betrays him. The man who looks at his woman and says “What would I do without you?” is already destroyed.
    Germaine Greer (b. 1939)
