Location
Burghfield is about 4 miles (6.4 km) southwest of Reading. Burghfield parish includes two separate villages – Burghfield Common and Burghfield Village – and several small hamlets, including Burghfield Bridge, Burghfield Hill, Pingewood, Trash Green, Whitehouse Green and Sheffield Bottom. Given the extent of the parish, it is bounded by several other parishes and villages.
