History

The first nudist club was at Wickford in Essex in 1924.

It existed from 1943 from a combination of sun clubs until 1964 when it merged with the Federation of British Sun Clubs (FBSC, which had split away in 1954) to form the Central Council of British Naturism (CCBN), later known just as BN or British Naturism.
