Raja Nazar Hussain Kiyani(late) was the only figure of this village who was elected to a national and provisional assembly seat and he was with Pakistan people's party(PPP). He acted as Chief Whip of National Assembly. One of his contributions to the village is approval of adjacent village connecting roads and connection of village to the national Sui Gas grid.
