Betting Strategy - Horse Racing Systems

Horse Racing Systems

Horse racing betting systems are based on a number of criteria, some of which include analysis of the horses' form.

Often horse racing systems are based on financial systems such as hedging (betting on multiple outcomes in a race) and arbitrage (lay the horse a low price and back it at a high price). Other horse racing systems exist which are based on items such as horse name, jockey form, trainer form, and lane draw. Modern horse racing systems can rely on specific betting possibilities only offered on betting exchanges.

The ineffective independent event systems in the above section can also be applied to horse racing.

Famous quotes containing the words horse, racing and/or systems:

But when his horse had put its hoof
    Into a rabbit hole
He dropped upon his head and died.
    His lady saw it all
And dropped and died thereon, for she
    Loved him with her soul.
    William Butler Yeats (1865–1939)

Upscale people are fixated with food simply because they are now able to eat so much of it without getting fat, and the reason they don’t get fat is that they maintain a profligate level of calorie expenditure. The very same people whose evenings begin with melted goat’s cheese ... get up at dawn to run, break for a mid-morning aerobics class, and watch the evening news while racing on a stationary bicycle.
    Barbara Ehrenreich (b. 1941)

No civilization ... would ever have been possible without a framework of stability, to provide the wherein for the flux of change. Foremost among the stabilizing factors, more enduring than customs, manners and traditions, are the legal systems that regulate our life in the world and our daily affairs with each other.
    Hannah Arendt (1906–1975)
