Family
Dane was married to folk singer Rolf Cahn. Their son, Jesse Cahn, also became a folk musician. Pablo Menendez, Dane's son with jeweler Byron Menendez, leads a jazz fusion ensemble in Cuba, 'Mezcla'. Dane's daughter, Nina Menendez, is the artistic director of The Bay Area Flamenco Partnership.
