Banjani (Serbian: Бањани) is a Montenegrin tribe of Montenegro and region located in western Montenegro, of which territory comprises 380 km², west of Nikšić. The territory is the centrum between Nikšić and Bileća, from the top of Njegoš mountain to the Trebišnjica river, and to the Bileća lake. All Banjani families has Jovanjdan as their protector St. John the Baptist day - January 20 slava, in the tradition of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
