Badiyadka

Badiyadka officially known as "Badiadka" (also known as "Perdala") is a village and Gram panchayat in Kasaragod district in the state of Kerala, India.

The name Badiadka derived from Badi - temple and adka - ground now known as kinnimani poomani temple. Still you can see the old temple in the ground in Badiadka town. This place is on the top of a small hill and scenery is eye catching. The state highway to Karnataka passes through the town. Badiadka is the centre point to connect Kumbla, Kasargod, Mulleria-Mercara and Puttur. Bolukatta is a prominent ground in Badiadka where many local sports and cricket is actively played.

Perdala Mosque is situated on the top of a small hill and the Uroos festival once in every two year is famous in this area. Festival in Perdala Udaneshwara temple is also famous among other communities.

Recently there have been plans from the local government to widen the road from Badiadka to Kumbla, making it a four way road. It is expected to complete by December 2013. Work for this road has already begun.
