AVANCE

AVANCE (pronounced: ah-vahn-ceh) is an award winning American non-profit organization, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas and national in scope with locations across the United States. Formed in 1973, it provides free parenting and early childhood education programs to low-income, predominately Hispanic, families with children of up to three years of age. The organization's work has been commented upon by individuals such as former First Ladies, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Rosalynn Carter and Barbara Bush and it has also been reported upon by The New York Times.
