• A bomb planted by Mujahedeen terrorists at the office of Iran's Prime Minister Bahonar killed both him and Iranian President Raja'i. Both had been in office for less than a month. After the double assassination, more than 2,000 Mujahedeen members and sympathizers were arrested and executed.;
