On 7 May 1955,his eldest son Michael Aston married Patricia Jane Williams, daughter of Captain Roderic Cecil Williams and Alice Katherine Howard Paget. Michael Aston was Aston's eldest son, his youngest being Derek Aston. Aston lived at The Mill House, Swallowcliffe, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England. He died in 1981.
