Arthur Vincent Aston

Arthur Vincent Aston CMG, MC was born in 1896 in Chester. He was the first British Adviser for Perak after the abolishment of the post British Resident of Perak. He was Resident Commissioner of Penang from 1948 to 1951. He was an internee at Changi and Sime Rd. during the Japanese occupation of Malaya and Singapore.
