Difference Between MC or MDC and Other Categories

MCs and MDCs are selected via GHQ selection board and have joined AM College as under training medical cadets for AMC or ADC cadre. They are bound to serve Pakistan Army for 13 years after their passing out from PMA as Capt Doctors. They complete their graduation from AM College and then go to PMA as GCs in Integrated Course. They upon qualifying in Basic Military Training get pass out from Pakistan Military Academy. For Female MCs, they get Basic Military Training in AFPGMI. So MCs are in fact Gentleman Cadets and get paid accordingly and are bound by same discipline as per Pakistan Army Act. They get stipend of about Rs 29800 per month and enjoy all other facilities such as free messing etc. While other categories are just cadets by name and are actually just students who complete their graduation and then may join army in future after completion of their course. AM Colleges' Training Branch usually provide them House Job in MH or CMH Rawalpindi.

Famous quotes containing the words difference between, difference and/or categories:

The difference between human vision and the image perceived by the faceted eye of an insect may be compared with the difference between a half-tone block made with the very finest screen and the corresponding picture as represented by the very coarse screening used in common newspaper pictorial reproduction. The same comparison holds good between the way Gogol saw things and the way average readers and average writers see things.
    Vladimir Nabokov (1899–1977)

A young man is not a proper hearer of lectures on political science; for he is inexperienced in the actions that occur in life, but its discussions start from these and are about these; and, further, since he tends to follow his passions, his study will be vain and unprofitable, because the end that is aimed at is not knowledge but action. And it makes no difference whether he is young in years or youthful in character.
    Aristotle (384–323 B.C.)

The analogy between the mind and a computer fails for many reasons. The brain is constructed by principles that assure diversity and degeneracy. Unlike a computer, it has no replicative memory. It is historical and value driven. It forms categories by internal criteria and by constraints acting at many scales, not by means of a syntactically constructed program. The world with which the brain interacts is not unequivocally made up of classical categories.
    Gerald M. Edelman (b. 1928)
