- A videotape of psychic Tamara Rand's January 6, 1981, appearance on "The Dick Maurice Show", with a prediction that President Reagan would be shot by an assassin with the initials "J.H.", was broadcast on CNN, and the next day on NBC's Today and ABC's Good Morning America. Five days later, Rand and Maurice admitted that the prediction sequence had been taped the day after the shooting.
