His laboratory table on which he carried out experiments stands in the aisle of the Church of St. Mary and All Saints in Broomfield and an obelisk in his memory is in the churchyard.
The majority of Crosse's Fyne Court mansion burned down in 1898, however the garden and the 65-acre (260,000 m2) estate are now owned by the National Trust and are open to visitors.
