Battle of The Maroons (Ananda Vs Nalanda)
Battle of the Maroons Ananda-Nalanda (Ananda versus Nalanda cricket match) is the annual cricket contest which is commonly referred to as the "Big Match" between Ananda College and Nalanda College Colombo which revives their age old cricketing tradition which first began in 1924. This annual encounter is one of the oldest school cricket contests in Sri Lanka.
