Agartala Airport

Agartala Airport (IATA: IXA, ICAO: VEAT) is located 12 km (6.5 nautical miles) northwest from the city of Agartala, the capital of the state of Tripura in India. It is administered by the Airports Authority of India (AAI). From 2010 to 2011 it was ranked 22nd busiest airport in India out of 50 major airports

The airport connects Agartala to Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Guwahati, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Delhi & Imphal. Its the 2nd busiest airport in North East India after Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, Guwahati.
