European Career 1935/38

Adelaide arrived in Paris, France, in the fall of 1935 and remained living there until 1938. Her husband Bert opened a nightclub for her in Paris called "La Grosse Pomme" where she entertained. The Quintette du Hot Club de France, starring Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli, were one of the house bands at the club.
