Engine News
The Cosworth XFE Champ Car engine program has been enhanced to provide better value and increased reliability as it prepares to serve its fifth consecutive season as the exclusive engine supplier to the Champ Car World Series. The life of the engines have been increased from 1,200 to 1,400 miles between rebuilds for the new editions of the XFE powerplant. The extended life is important to the budgets of the teams, which purchase engine leases for the entire season instead of buying each individual engine.

Famous quotes containing the words engine and/or news:
“There is a small steam engine in his brain which not only sets the cerebral mass in motion, but keeps the owner in hot water.”
—Unknown. New York Weekly Mirror (July 5, 1845)
“These men, in teaching us how to die, have at the same time taught us how to live. If this man’s acts and words do not create a revival, it will be the severest possible satire on the acts and words that do. It is the best news that America has ever heard.... How many a man who was lately contemplating suicide has now something to live for!”
—Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)
