1st Combat Evaluation Group

The 1st Combat Evaluation Group was Strategic Air Command's military simulation, evaluation, and standardization group and its Radar Bomb Scoring Division performed Radar Bomb Scoring of simulated strategic bombing missions. In 1961 the functions of the 3908th Strategic Standardization Group that provided command level standardization/evaluation of SAC aircrews were assigned to 1st Radar Bomb Scoring Group, which was redesignated the 1st Combat Evaluation Group (CEVG) . 1CEVG included standardization/evaluation divisions, a Radar Bomb Scoring Division, and an Office of History.
