Zarina or Zarinaea, according to Ctesias, was wife of Liton and successor of Marmarius, king of the Scythians.
Zarina led a rebellion by Scythians and Parthians against the Median King Cyaxares, who according to Herodotus had recovered his kingdom through intoxicating Scythian nobles.
Zarina is also a Ukrainian feminine given name.
