Yummie Tummie - History

History

The concept for Yummie by Heather Thomson stemmed from Thomson’s personal desire to shed her excess baby weight after giving birth. Upon visiting department stores and not being able to find a shapewear product that worked for her body, Heather leaned on her years of design experience and developed the brand’s signature patented 3-panel tank, thereby marking the foundation for the Yummie by Heather Thomson brand. Realizing that if she needed it, other women would need it too, Thomson sought out to identify the problem areas that women might have. In turn, she developed shapewear solutions that work for all body types. In launching Yummie by Heather Thomson in 2010, Thomson filled a void in women’s wardrobes by expanding her shapewear collection to include ready-to-wear.

Yummie by Heather Thomson currently has distribution agreements in the United States, Philippines, United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, Australia and Austria as well as extensive sales in the Benelux and more than 20 other countries.

Famous quotes containing the word history:

I believe that in the history of art and of thought there has always been at every living moment of culture a “will to renewal.” This is not the prerogative of the last decade only. All history is nothing but a succession of “crises”Mof rupture, repudiation and resistance.... When there is no “crisis,” there is stagnation, petrification and death. All thought, all art is aggressive.
    Eugène Ionesco (b. 1912)

The history of this country was made largely by people who wanted to be left alone. Those who could not thrive when left to themselves never felt at ease in America.
    Eric Hoffer (1902–1983)

My good friends, this is the second time in our history that there has come back from Germany to Downing Street peace with honour. I believe it is peace for our time. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. And now I recommend you to go home and sleep quietly in your beds.
    Neville Chamberlain (1869–1940)
