Young Labour (United Kingdom)

Young Labour (United Kingdom)

Young Labour is the youth section of the British Labour Party. It is open to all Labour members between the ages of 14 and 27, and membership is automatic for those between 14 and 27 joining the Labour Party.

It exists to involve young people in the Labour Party and ensure that the aspirations of young people are reflected in Labour’s policies in government – whether that be at a National, European, Scottish, Welsh or local level.

Famous quotes containing the words young and/or labour:

For God’s sake give me the young man who has brains enough to make a fool of himself!
    Robert Louis Stevenson (1850–1894)

All’s pathos now. The body that was gross,
Rank, ravenous, disgusting in the act or in repose,
All fever, filth and sweat, its bestial strength
And bestial decay, by pain and labour grows at length
    Fragile and luminous.
    Frank Templeton Prince (b. 1912)
