World Short Track Speed Skating Team Championships

The World Short Track Speed Skating Team Championships are a professional team short track speed skating event and held once a year in a different country.

Top 8 countries from Short Track World Cup Series qualify automatically. 4 skaters from each country race in the 500 meter, and 1000 meters, 2 skaters from each country race in the 3000 meters and a team effort in the 3000 meters relay, for women, and the 5000 meters relay for men. 8 countries are divided into 2 brackets, and do races. Country for first placed skater get 5 points, and 3 points, 2 points, 1 points respectively, sum of each skater for races determine the rank. First placed country qualify for Final A, last placed country qualify for Final B. Repachage is held for remain two qualify countries for Final A. The Championships was discontinued until further notice by ISU after 2011 season.
