- an introduction;
- a list of substances that should not be ingested, including wine, strong drink, tobacco and "hot drinks";
- a list of foods that should be used, some with certain limitations; and
- a divine promise to those who follow the guidelines.

Famous quotes containing the words word of, word, wisdom and/or revelation:
“Whenever we read the obscene stories, the voluptuous debaucheries, the cruel and torturous executions, the unrelenting vindictiveness, with which more than half the Bible is filled, it would be more consistent that we called it the word of a demon than the Word of God. It is a history of wickedness that has served to corrupt and brutalize mankind.”
—Thomas Paine (17371809)
“Mother is the first word that occurs to politicians and columnists and popes when they raise the question, Why isnt life turning out the way we want it?”
—Mary Kay Blakely (20th century)
“As an elder I mistrust the wisdom of age.”
—Mason Cooley (b. 1927)
“Men have come to speak of the revelation as somewhat long ago given and done, as if God were dead. The injury to faith throttles the preacher; and the goodliest of institutions becomes an uncertain and inarticulate voice.”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson (18031882)
